Overview
The Triage Engine is a sophisticated hybrid parser that transforms raw email noise into structured presence. It uses specialised airline parsers and a human-centric priority layer to ensure that family commitments, medical appointments, and school events are identified and prioritised automatically: allowing the founder to remain present for what matters most.
The Origin Story
The kids come first. I built the Triage Engine during a period of severe personal overwhelm to carry the mental load of single parenthood. By writing my children's names into my code, I ensure that my system prioritises school assemblies and non-uniform days over generic business noise: protecting my presence as a parent while I build high-level architecture.
ROIReal-World Impact
Achieved a 95% accuracy rate in automated event creation. The system reclaims 10+ hours of administrative focus per month by turning the inbox into a passive source of calendar truth.
Challenge
Generic scheduling tools fail to handle 'Messy' real-world data like airline confirmations or localized personal mentions. This leads to missed deadlines, scheduling conflicts, and constant administrative friction.
Solution
A production-grade script with 600+ lines of deterministic logic. It features custom regex parsers for structured airline data and a unique 'Human Trigger' layer that scans for family-specific keywords: automatically creating reminders that respect the boundaries between business and life.

Business Impact & Scalability
This project isn't just code; it's a strategic asset designed to eliminate operational friction and drive measurable conversion. By focusing on Google Apps Script and Gmail API, we ensured a foundation that scales with enterprise demand.
