Overview
A modern, high-performance Uptime Monitoring Application built with Ruby on Rails 8. Designed to be lightweight, fast, and aesthetically premium with a bespoke Glassmorphism design system.
Challenge
Existing uptime monitors are often bloated, expensive, or lack a premium aesthetic. Teams need a simple, self-hosted tool to track response times and SSL expiry without relying on complex, third-party Redis/Sidekiq dependencies.
Solution
A 'Glass UI' dashboard that provides real-time health checks, SSL expiration alerts (<10 days), and response time tracking. It leverages Rails 8's 'Enterprise Resilience' features - Solid Cache and Solid Queue - for database-backed background jobs, simplifying the deployment stack to a one-click Kamal config.
